Holger Jaquet

“Holger Jaquet” means, loosely interpreted from an onomastic point of view: the one from the small island with the spear on the Way of St. James. This has nothing to do with Holger as a person - except that he feels at home in the north, likes hiking and loves short stories. If there is so much meaning in a name, how much story can be  in 30 seconds of film? His interpretations, which are of course written by himself, therefore always begin with a detailed description of the storie's main character, even if he's only supposed to throw a spear. His second passion is cinematography, which is why he is particularly pleased when projects allow him to do the camera work himself. Here too, Holger wants to follow his credo of “picture follows story” and primarily tell stories. The work he has done over the past 15 years covers the entire spectrum of automotive, food, insurance, finance, music videos, documentaries and short cuts, some of which have won awards.
